Plans & Pricing
Every plan uses the same workflow: describe an app, let AppX generate and validate it, open it on your own phone, and refine it by chat. Plans differ mainly in monthly credits. Starter and above add AppX Backend, and Pro gets priority on App Store requests. The full code download is on every plan.

Once a month your monthly credits are set back to your plan's amount; unused monthly credits are not carried over. Extra credits you bought and have not spent are kept. The current price of every plan, including Basic, is on the pricing page.
Basic
Best for: trying AppX, validating an idea, learning how generation feels.
- 100 credits/month — enough to build a small multi-screen app and iterate on it.
- Build an app from a prompt and edit it by chat.
- Live preview in the browser, and on your own phone from a QR code (on Android, in Expo Go too).
- Real, inspectable Expo + React Native code.
- Full code download — the whole Expo project as a ZIP you can run anywhere.

Starter — $20/mo
Best for: apps that need to remember things — accounts, saved data, uploads.
Everything in Basic, plus:
- 300 credits/month
- AppX Backend — a database for each app, ready without setup. See Add a Backend to Your App.
Premium — $50/mo
Best for: people building several apps, or one bigger app, every month.
Everything in Starter, plus:
- 800 credits/month
Pro — $100/mo
Best for: heavy daily building, and apps headed for the stores.
Everything in Premium, plus:
- 1,700 credits/month — high-volume generation and editing.
- Priority on App Store requests — your store requests are handled first. See Publishing.
Annual Billing
Starter, Premium, and Pro can be paid yearly, which saves about 10% versus paying monthly.
Extra Credits
On paid plans you can buy extra credits any time: $5 = 60 credits. They are added on top of your monthly credits, are spent after them, and don't expire. See Credits.
FAQ
How much is Basic? The current price is on the pricing page. We don't repeat it here so this page never shows an old number.
Do monthly credits roll over? No. Once a month your monthly credits are set back to your plan's amount; unused monthly credits are not carried over. Extra credits you bought and have not spent are kept.
What exactly costs a credit? A build is priced by the work it takes, not per screen; the plan card shows "About N credits" before it starts. Chat edits are metered, with a minimum of 1 credit per turn. If a build or an edit fails, you are not charged. Full rules on the Credits page.
Can I take my code with me? Yes. Every plan includes the full React Native (Expo) project as a ZIP download.
Do you put my app in the App Store? A real person from AppX does it with you, as a separate service with a written price first. See Publishing.
